Marilyn Hilton's articles, poems, and award-winning short stories have appeared in Decision, Woman's Touch/Leader's Touch, Spirit-Led Writer, Bay Area Baby, Mid-American Review, and Reed. Her book, The Christian Girl's Guide to Your Mom (Legacy Press), was released in January 2004. The Christian Girl's Guide to Your Dad will be available in 2005.

Marilyn holds a M.A. degree in English/Creative Writing from San Jose State University, and in 1994 she won an Associated Writing Programs (AWP) Intro Journals Award for short fiction.

Her relationship with God, her husband, and three children all inspire writing that speaks from the heart. She is active in several ministries at their church.
